How to get a new coffee shop to open at your favorite hilltop cafe?
The Hilltop Café will likely open its doors to the public for the first time on Friday, December 17, according to its website.
The café’s new owners say it will open for the public starting at 8 a.m. and stay open until 3 p.m., as well as from 7 a..m.-8 a.o.
The cafe is owned by former Starbucks store owner and owner of a popular coffee spot in the city.
Hilltop Cafe is owned and operated by former Coffee Bean store owner James D. Hill, who previously owned The Hill, a coffee shop and bar that has been closed since February 2016.
Hill and his family purchased The Hill in 2016 for $2.2 million, but closed it down after it failed to draw enough customers to keep the bar open for months.
Hill’s former Starbucks location at the corner of W. 14th and Pine streets in Fort Worth, Texas, was the site of several violent crimes and an alleged sexual assault in 2016, according a police report.
Hill died in February 2017 after being shot by a gunman during an attempted robbery.
Hill also was known for his work in the hospitality industry, according, to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
