“The cafe will be called Hollander Cafe and we will be taking over the original space in the basement of a house in the community.”
The Hollander founders say the cafe will offer a different take on Memphis’ food culture.
“In the future, we will have an outlet of sorts for people who want to come in and get something new,” Mr Hollander said.
Mr Hollander has previously said he would like to see a “festival of pizza”, and he said the concept would not be exclusive to Memphis.
“That would be a really cool idea, to try to see all the different pizza parlours in Memphis and just see what’s out there,” he told the ABC.

“There’s going to definitely be a lot more interest than we expected coming in,” Mr Holland said.
“We’re just looking to see what the community wants to do.”
Mr Holland said he was confident his restaurant could provide a great experience for locals.
“You can’t go to a restaurant and expect that everything is going to work out and that you’re going to get everything that you expect,” he continued.
“It’s a bit of a balancing act, but we are trying to do the best thing we can with what we have, so it’s not like we’re just trying to throw everything out.”
The Memphis Pizza Bar cafe is currently only open for a couple of hours, but Mr Holland hopes to open more locations throughout the month.
