The Irish Examiner reports that a number of popular cafes have popped up across the country, which has been experiencing a surge in the popularity of Panini coffees.
The cafes are mostly owned by the same family, which also owns the popular Dublin eatery Panini.
Panini has since been rebranded as The Panini Cafe chain.
In the past, it was possible to order a Panini coffee at any of the cafes across the island, but the chain has recently opened its doors to the public, including its own website and on the app.
“It’s really cool to see it all here in Ireland and it’s all about the people, so you don’t have to worry about going to the other places, because Panini is here to serve you,” said local mum, Eunice McArdle.
In a recent Instagram post, The Irish Coffee Shop’s founder, Simon McArDle, revealed that he was also planning to open a Panina cafe.
“I will be opening up a Paninian Cafe, where you can have Panini in your cup, and a Paninini mug in your hand, and it will be free to enjoy and the service is going to be excellent,” he said.
He has also started a new Facebook page, where he is encouraging the public to join in on the fun.
“We are not just trying to sell you a cup of Paninian coffee.
We are trying to give you the experience you’ve always wanted, with Panini, and Panini cups,” he wrote.
