A new cafe in Malibu has opened for lunch.
The Blue Sky Cafe in the Malibu neighborhood of Malibu opened for its first day on Saturday, with customers ordering breakfast, lunch and dinner in advance.
The cafe, which serves breakfast, lunches and dinner, was originally opened in January and had a sign on the door saying “Welcome to Blue Sky” and “Happy Birthday to the World.”
Blue Sky Cafe owner Yael Diamant said she hoped to expand the cafe to other areas of Los Angeles and beyond in the future.
“I feel like it’s a great opportunity for people to be part of the city and a good way to meet people from all over the world,” she said.
Diamant was a part of a team of Japanese chefs working at the restaurant during the week and Friday, when the cafe opened for business.
She hopes the new cafe will give a different perspective to those who visit the restaurant for lunch and breakfast.
In an interview with The Jerusalem Times in June, Diamants said that she hoped the cafe would serve up a new kind of food, and not just a simple lunch option.
It’s a good place to meet other people from around the world, Dias said.
“I’m hoping that people come in for lunch because it’s just good food.”
